Beeston Motor Company Ltd
Registered 1897, Company number 51340. Re-registered later in the year number 54692. The Beeston companies, Beeston Motor, Beeston Tyre and Beeston Cycle, formed part of the Harry Lawson Group. These companies operated from the Quinton Works in Parkside, Coventry, until the group was either wound up or reorganized at the turn of the 20th century. During World War I, the factory produced munitions for the war effort and engines for Hispano-Suiza and Renault aircraft. The Swift Motor Company took over the premises which is now the Ibis Hotel. Dissolved <1916.
