Formed as a reconstruction of a company of the same name first registered in 1895. Company held ground on the Bendigo goldfield in Victoria. This ground was intended to be sold to subsidiary companies. Two companies where formed called the South Bendigo Gold Mines Ltd. and the Pick O’ the Field Gold Mines Ltd. Neither of which where floated due to market conditions. The company was amalgamated in 1899 with the Southern New Chum Gold Mines Ltd. and the New Chum Gold Mines Ltd. to form the Goldfields of Victoria Ltd.
