Berners Hotel Ltd
Registered 1890 to acquire the existing private hotel at 6 & 7 Berners Street, London, owned by Berners Hotel Company Limited, which had been registered in 1880, and to acquire adjacent property. Thomas Ward was the previous owner and Managing Director. He was prosecuted for issuing a forged bill of exchange in 1895 and also for the fraudulent issuing of debentures. The building still exists as the luxurious London Edition. Dissolved <1916. Company number 32050
