Dundee and Arbroath Railway Company
Incorporated on 13th August 1834
A standard gauge line running 16 miles with junctions with the Dundee and Perth, and the Arbroath and Forfar Railways. It opened in 1840, passing jointly to the Caledonian and North British Railways in 1879.
Capital £150,000 divided into Whole Shares of £25 each, and New Shares of £25 each. Loans of £50,000. Total capital £266,700 in shares and £88,900 in loans.
