Ely, Haddenham and Sutton Railway Company
Incorporated on 23rd June 1864
A standard gauge line connecting the three towns. The Great Eastern Railway subscribed £12,000 to the project and the line was later connected with that railway, and its name changed to the Ely and St. Ives Railway. The original section was opened in 1866, and the extension in 1878, both passing to the Great Eastern the following year.
Capital £36,000 in £10 shares and £12,000 in loans.
