Formed in 1867 with head office in St. Petersburg. Initial capital was 200,000 roubles in shares of 50 roubles. From the 2nd issue (1873), shares were 100 roubles. Capital in 1912 was 1,500,000 roubles. Serial numbers were not cumulative; each issue started again with 0001.

Description
In 1867, the Russian Society for the Trade of Pharmaceutical Goods was transformed into a joint-stock company. Its fixed capital amounted to 200 thousand rubles. and was divided into 4000 shares of 50 rubles. each. Initially, the pharmacy goods warehouse was located in St. Petersburg at the address: st. Kazanskaya, 12 (currently – Griboedov Canal Embankment, 35). Branches of the society and warehouses were also opened in Kharkov and Yekaterinburg.
The Russian Society for the Trade in Pharmaceutical Goods carried out an additional issue of shares in 1873, 1876, 1895, 1902, 1908 and 1912. On the eve of the First World War, the fixed capital amounted to 1.5 million rubles, divided into 4,000 shares of 50 rubles each. and 13,000 shares of 100 rubles. Members of the Board in 1914 were: Yu.A. Brandt, A.A. Brummer, A.A. Wagner, N.A. Russov, V.F. Feldt (son of one of the original founders). (Source: CentroCredit Bank website)
