Description
The firm was founded in 1870 as a private company and became a joint-stock company in 1897. The factory in Riga manufactured machinery for woodworking and leather industry as well as steam boilers. During WWI, the company moved to Voronesh and afterwards started producing agricultural machinery and equipment for bakeries. During WWII, the company produced rocket launchers (Katjucha). In the Soviet years, the company built excavators. Finally, the company was declared bankrupt in 2009.
