Jersey Railways and Tramways Company Ltd.
First incorporated in 1862 as the Jersey Railway. Re-incorporated in 1883 as Jersey Railways Co. Ltd.
A pair of lines, the first a standard gauge line from St. Hilier to St. Aubin which was opened in 1870 and extended to Corbiere in 1884. The second ran from St. Aubin to La Moye and its granite quarry, this line built to the narrow 3ft 6in gauge. The former line was altered to narrow gauge in 1884, and the company was re-registered under the newest name in 1896. The lines closed in 1936.
Capital £120,000 divided into £60,000 common stock and £60,000 debenture stock.
