Morecambe Railway and Harbour Company
Incorporated on 16thJuly 1846.
A short standard gauge line connecting the Lancaster and Carlisle Railway with a Harbour to be built in Morecambe Bay. These opened in 1848 having been acquired and built by the ‘Little North Western’ Railway. The line sold to the Midland Railway in 1871.
