Dublin and South Eastern Railway Company
Incorporated in December 1906.
Formed to alter the name of the existing Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford Railway, which had absorbed a number of other lines including the City of Dublin Junction Railway in 1884, and the Dublin, Dundrum and Rathfarnham Railway. Later in 1923 the Dublin and South Eastern amalgamated with other main lines to form the Great Southern of Ireland Railway.
Capital following 1906 consolidation: £1,106,800 in Ordinary stock, £463,350 in preference stock, and over £1,000,000 in debenture stock.
1906
