Barnstaple Theatre
The old theatre in Honey Pot Lane (now Theatre Lane) was built in 1760 but was in a poor state by 1832 and closed. The new Greacian Hall was opened in 1834 and was renamed the Theatre Royal in 1860. |It too closed in 1880 but was reopened in 1893 but was demolished just before WWI.
