Terra-Marine Company
Incorporated in New York in 1905. Owned the huge Terra Marine Inn at Hugenot Park on Staten Island. It was almost destroyed by fire in 1909 which was presumably the reason for issuing these bonds in 1910. However, there was scandal involved with the issue in that the building company, United Contractors Corporation and its directors were indicted by the Grand Jury for over selling the issue. The company was in the hands of the receiver at the end of 1910. Reopened in 1912 under new ownership.
