Republic of New Granada: 1845 1% Active Bonds
Issued £3,256,000 in payment of the old Colombian loans of 1822 and 1824 of which the Republic of New Granada accepted 50% liability. Secured on tobacco and Customs revenues. Interest 1% increasing by 1/4% up to 6%. Convertible into Waste Land certificates in 1861, the remainder converted to 1873 Loan at about 34% nominal.
