Augustine Automatic Rotary Engine Company
A New York incorporation of 1909 to supply the rotary engine invented by Benjamin F. Augustine who signs as President. The company spent years trying to sell its stock through newspaper advertising and actually trialled the engine in several automobiles. In 1924 the company licensed the Champion Rotary Motors Company to build ther engines but it was dogged by constant accusation of stock selling operations. Both companies disappeared in the 1920’s.
