Bankfoot Light Railway Company
Incorporated in 1898
A 3 mile standard gauge light railway line from the Caledonian Railway to Bankfoot. Opened in 1906 for traffic, it was bought and worked by the Caledonian Railway in 1913 until its closure to passengers in 1931 (complete closure in 1951).
Capital £17,000 in £10 shares and £3,850 in loans. Additional capital of £4,500 in £10 shares raised 1910, which was subscribed to by the Caledonian Railway Company.
