Brighton and Chichester Railway Company

A line from Shoreham-by-Sea to Chichester, subsequently extending the London and Brighton Railways route, and which company purchased the line for £12, 10s per £50 share. It opened in 1845 and extensions were authorised in 1846 which opened much later in 1861.
