An amalgamation of Baird International Television and Baird Television Development in 1930. John Logie Baird, 1888 – 1946, was the Scottish inventor who demonstrated the world’s first working television in January 1926, one of the most important advancements of the 20th century. Some certificates signed by him.
Capital £825,000 in 2,100,000 10% Non-Cumulative Preferred Ordinary shares of 5/- and 1,200,000 Deferred Ordinary shares. By 1936 Capital was £1,087,500 in 6,300,000 20% Non-Cumulative Preferred Ordinary shares of 2/6d and 2,400,000 Deferred Ordinary shares of 2/6d.
