Herne Bay Pier Company
Incorporated by Act of Parliament 1831 to build a pier to land passengers at Herne Bay, Kent. The pier, designed by Thomas Telford, opened in 1832 to a length of 3613 feet. Demolished in 1870 and replaced by a shorter pier.
