“Lloyd” Copper Company Ltd
Registered 15th of April 1912. Company number 121412. Struck off the register 1921. Capital £280,000 in £1 shares.
Acquired the Lloyd’s Burraga Copper mine situated at Burraga, Bathurst, New South Wales and refining works at Lithgow, New South Wales, from a company of the same name. Operations at the mine where restarted but suspended by June 1914 due to the exhaustion of the working capital. In September 1916 the creditors of the company sold the assets to cover the company’s debt. The Abercrombie Copper Mines Ltd., was formed to purchase the property back and this companies shareholders where invited to subscribe for shares.
