Many certificates are signed by Hon. Charles White (1860-1930), son of the 2nd Baron Annaly, joined British South Africa Company police in 1891, appointed Commissioner of Mashonaland Mounted Police in 1893, resigned at the time of the Jameson Raid but was thought to have been involved in it’s planning.
