
“Lloyd” Copper Company Ltd
Registered 9th of May 1899. Company number 62015. In voluntary liquidation 9th of January 1912 to be reconstructed under the same name. Capital £250,000 in £1 shares, increased to £300,000 in November 1906.
Acquired the Lloyd’s Burraga Copper mine situated at Burraga, Bathurst, New South Wales and refining works at Lithgow, New South Wales, from the Copper Purchase Syndicate Ltd. The original property covered 398 acres but was later increased to 693 acres and then to 853 acres. The company was reconstructed in 1912 to allow for the construction of a new mill.
