Formed to acquire two properties consisting of 19 acres at Broad Arrow, Western Australia and 96 acres at Mount Vernon, Western Australia. By September 1896 both of these properties where found to be uneconomical. The vendor of these properties allowed the company to select new ground to be transferred to them at no cost. The new ground consisted of 7 leases totalling 129 acres at Mount Malcolm, Western Australia. The company was reconstructed under the same name in 1898.
