Associated Southern Gold Mines (W. A.) Ltd
Registered 11th November 1899. In voluntary liquidation 7th November 1904. Company number 64149
Capital £375,000 in shares of £1.
Formed as a reconstruction of a company of the same name first registered 1896 to acquire 15 leases in the Hannan’s District of Western Australia. One lease was sold by the previous company to the Trafalgar Gold Mine (W. A.) Ltd. The new company set about preparing properties for sale but this seems to have proven unsuccessful with most of the original leases having been surrendered. The company acquired a property in the Gold Coast Colony in 1901 which was sold to the Atta Krukru (Wassau) Gold Mine Ltd. The company entered into an agreement with the Hannan’s Trust Ltd to acquire new ground at Kalgoorlie and was reconstructed as the Corona Consolidated Ltd.
