1902 Reichshaupt- und Residenzstadt Wien, 4% Investitions-Anlehen
This Vienna investment loan of 285 million Gulden was by far the biggest communal loan of Austria before the WWI. It was issued for the construction of the Vienna tramway system, the second water-work and public buildings. Interest and redemption were paid at Berlin, Frankfurt, Paris, Lyon, Amsterdam, Brussels, Zürich, Basel, Geneva, London and New York at fixed exchange rates in local currency. Redeemed in 1922.
