Kisumu Rubber Estates Ltd
Registered 1910. Owned leasehold of almost 6,000 acres at Kisumu, Nyanza, Kenya to plant rubber, sugar, cotton and coffee. Only rubber was planted which was unsuccessful and the company was put into voluntary liquidation on 2nd December 1912. The British East Africa Corporation took over the debts of the company to aid the liquidator in obtaining the best terms for disposal of the company’s property. Final meeting 1916.
