Whalen Pulp & Paper Mills Limited

Incorporated in British Columbia 30th April 1917, purchasing the assets of the British Columbia Sulphite Fibre Company Ltd., the stock of the Colonial Lumber and Paper Mills Ltd. (Port Alice) and Empire Pulp and Paper Mills Ltd. (Swanson Bay). In receivership by 1923 and British Columbia Pulp and Paper Company Ltd. formed to acquire the assets.
Capital $10,102,500 in 20,000 preference shares of $100, 102,500 preference shares of $1 and 80,000 ordinary shares of $100.
