Department of Tolima, 1927 External 20-Year 7% Secured Sinking Fund Gold Bonds
Authorised and issued $2,500,000 at 93½ to retire debt, complete the Ambalema/Ibaque Railway, highway construction etc. Secured by tobacco, liquor and other taxes. Redeemable 1947 against sinking fund. Interest and Sinking Fund in default from 1st May 1932. Exchangeable for Colombian 3% bonds of 1949 at $1200 new for $1000 old. Most bonds were exchanged.
