Credito Hipotecario Nacional de Guatemala
On December 4, 1929, the President of the Republic of Guatemala, issued Decree No. 1040, through which the Law of Creation of the National Mortgage Credit was promulgated. On October 6, 1930, the institution was inaugurated; and on the 7th of the same month and year, Decree No. 1098 was issued, which gave effect to its Regulatory Law.
Capital 1,500,000 quetzals, 500,000 of which was a reserve fund.
