Dundalk and Enniskillen Railway Company
Incorporated on 21st July 1845. A 5ft 3in gauge line running approximately 77 miles, connecting with the Dublin and Belfast, and the Newry and Enniskillen Railways. The name was changed to the Irish North Western and it later formed part of the Great Northern of Ireland Railway.
