Enniskillen, Bundoran and Sligo Railway Company
Incorporated on 11th July 1861. A 35 mile line connecting with the Londonderry and Enniskillen Railway. It was extended to join the Midland Great Western Railway in Sligo, new capital was authorised for this. The line was worked by the Irish North Western Railway and later the Great Northern of Ireland Railway.
Original capital £200,000 in £10 shares, loans of £66,600. Extension capital £150,000 in shares and £50,000 on loan. Preference shares (£100,000) issued in 1865, and debenture stock created in 1869 to re-arrange debts.
