The company was founded 1883 in Libau (now in Latvia) as Boecker et Cie. The company ran into financial difficulties in 1907-1912, after which it restructured and became a limited company with a capital of 2,500,000 roubles. The company produced a range of products from iron, copper and bronze, e.g. ingots, chains, steel tools, boilers.
