Formed in 1901 with head office in Vilna (now Vilnius in Lithuania). Initial capital was 400,000 roubles in shares of 250 roubles. This was increased to 500,000 roubles in 1905 and then 800,000 roubles in February 1911. Capital was reduced to 600,000 roubles in November 1911 and in December, capital was increased to 1,200,000 roubles and the shares converted to 100 roubles each.
