Niger Company Limited
Formed in 1882 as the National African Company Limited to take over the business of the United African Company Limited and other companies in the region. Chartered by the British Government in 1886 and name changed to the Royal African Company Chartered and Limited to administer the region. The company surrendered its charter in January 1900 and title changed to this in the same year.
