Description
The company was founded by Ernst Posselt (of German origin). He came to Russia in 1883 and founded several textile companies in the country (e.g. ‘Textil’ in Riga and ‘Warsaw Carpet Factory’). With the participation of the Italian Primo Bonacocca, he founded this Russian-Italian Co. in 1898. It was based in Warsaw and produced raw undyed silk thread, dyed sewing silk and silk thread. Offices in Lodz and Moscow were opened.
