Description
The company, created in 1897, took control of the various assets of the Hubbard family business in Russia. These included two spinning and weaving mills and a calico printing company, as well as a forestry concession in Finland. The company loans were intended to support the loss-making printing company.
The company was never liquidated following the Russian Revolution but remained as a non-trading company. When the Foreign Compensation Order of 1986 settled claims against Russia, the company received a large sum that was distributed to holders of first and second debentures. The company was finally would up around 2010.
