Description
Simferopol is the capital of the Crimea, known at that time as Tavrida. The company was originally founded as a private company by Leon N. Schapiro. It became a joint-stock company in 1900 with a capital of 300.000 rbls. The brewery produced both English-style beers and traditional Russian beer (Kvass). Today the brewery is known as ‘OAO Krim’.
