Formed in 1896 with head office in St. Petersburg. Initial capital was 3,000,000 roubles in shares of 125 gold roubles, changed in 1898 to 187.50 roubles. From the 1908 issue, shares were reduced to 100 roubles. Capital by 1916 was 23,534,000 roubles.
