Formed in 1883 with head office in St. Petersburg. Initial capital was 2,000,000 roubles in shares of 250 roubles. In 1910, capital was converted to 100 roubles, with an issue of 20,000 new shares of 100 roubles. In 1911, the shares issued prior to 1910 (14,000) were converted to new shares of 100 roubles. By 1916 , capital had reached 33,000,000 roubles in shares of 100 roubles.
