
Eastleigh Mines Limited
Registered in the South African Republic January 1894 to acquire ground at Farm Nooitgedacht, Potchefstroom district, Transvaal formally belonging to the Nooitgedacht Gold Mining Co., Ltd. Parts of the property where sold to the Westleigh Mines Ltd. In March 1895 and to the Eastleigh Block A Gold Mines Ltd. In October 1895. Production started in April 1896 but the mine was closed down in 1898 due to the poor returns.. In voluntary liquidation 25th May 1906.
Capital £250,000 in shares of £1, increased to £280,000 April 1895 and then to £330,000 in April 1896.
