A. Harper Sons & Bean Limited
Registered 1919 to make cars at its factory -Waddams Pool Works, Dudley, Worcestershire – which had been supplying car parts for a few years previously. They acquired the rights for the Perry car in 1919 and set up a new factory to build the chassis in Hurst lane, Coseley. Harper Bean was formed in November 1919 to acquire a large proportion of the shares and also shares of Vulcan Motor, swift of Coventry, Hadfields Limited and others.
