They were invlved with the acquisition by British Marine Aircraft Ltd. of the license to build the Sikorsky S.42 Flying Boat. John Theodore Cuthbert Moore-Brabazon, 1st Baron Brabazon of Tara, 1884-1964, aviation pioneer, the first Englishman to piolot a heavier-than-aur flying machine in England, minister of Transport and Minsiter of Aircraft production during WWII. He was the first person to qualify as a pilot and received the Royal Aero Club aviator’s certificate #1.
