Birmingham and Gloucester Railway Company

A standard gauge line which joined the London and Birmingham Railway in Gloucester and the Great Western Union Railway in Cheltenham over a 40 mile route. It amalgamated with the Bristol and Gloucester Railway, and was taken over by the Midland Railway in 1846.
