An amalgamation of the Oxford and Bletchley Junction and the Buckingham and Brackley Railways, both incorporated in 1846. Leased to the London and North Western Railway in 1847, and opened in 1850, eventually being absorbed by the LNW in 1879.
Original capital £795,000 in 45,428 Shares of £17.10s each. Loans of £265,000. Consolidated capital £1,245,000 in shares, and £414,000 in loans.
