Chipping Norton Railway Company
Incorporated on 31st July 1854
A 4½ mile line with a junction on the Oxford, Worcester, and Wolverhampton Railway. It was purchased by that company in 1859, which amalgamated with others to form the West Midland Railway in 1860. The West Midland became part of the Great Western in 1863.
Capital £24,000 in shares, £10,000 subscribed to by locals, and £14,000 by Sir Samuel Morton Peto.
