Cinema-Television Ltd
A controlling interest in Baird Television was obtained by cinema operator Isidore Ostrer. This separate company was formed in 1940 to continue his work with live broadcasts at his cinemas. Became part of the Rank group and renamed Rank Cintel Ltd. in 1958. Changed hands several times to become Cintel International PLC.
Capital £368,250 in 326,500 10% non-cumulative participating preference shares of £1, 80,000 redeemebale preference shares of 5 shillings and 870,000 deferred shares of 6 pence.
