Coventry, Nuneaton, Birmingham and Leicester Railway Company

A 15 mile line linking the cities, the section between Coventry and Nuneaton being covered by a separate Act of the London and North Western Railway. The original company allowed their powers to lapse, and the remaining section was built and opened in 1867 by the Nuneaton and Hinckley Railway, known as the ‘South Leicestershire Railway’.
