De Lavaud Free-Wheel Differential Ltd
Registered 1929. A French invention which was manufactured at Letchworth, Hertfordhsire for a few years. It replace the rear axle so that when pressure was lifted off the accelorator the gear disengaged and the vehicle free wheeled. It was fitted to a Rover motor car for testing but not much further was heard of the company. Probably a victim of the 1929 company crash. Dissolved <1948. Company number 237715
