Provisionally registered in 1845. Incorporated by Act of Parliament on 2nd July 1847.
An 18¼ mile line which would connect with the North Staffordshire Railways Potteries Line. The name was changed to the Cannock Mineral Railway in 1855 and opened under this name in 1859, passing to the London and North Western in 1869.
Capital £400,000 in shares of £20 each, loans of £133,300.
