Empire Palace of Varieties, Middlesbrough Limited
Built as a Music Hall in Corporation Road in 1897 and performers have included Charlie Chaplin and Laurel & Hardy. As with many such venues it was used as a bingo hall after the 1960’s and then became almost derelict until acquired for use as a nightclub in recent years.
