Hotel Metropole Blackpool Ltd

Registered 1896 to acquire the Metropole Hotel at the Northern end of Blackpool Promenade. Originally built in 1776 as Baileys Hotel it was owned by various people until 1896 when this company bought it and renamed it the Metropole. The building was completely renovated but this company was in liquidation by 1899 before works were completed. A new company acquired the property in 1900 and produced the red brick building that exists today. It is currently owned by Britannia Hotels. Company number 47628
